Ecole Supérieure St. Louis d’Afrique (St. Louis African University) Republic of Bénin was established by the Centre for Peace Initiative and African (CEPIAI) with the collaboration of some individuals. The desire of this research Institute to venture into University education was basically to contribute her quota to the development of education in Africa. Ecole Supérieure St Louis d’Afrique (St. Louis African University) was licensed by the government of the Republic of Bénin through the ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieure et de la Recherche Scientifique) with authorization no 049/MESR/CAB/DC/SAM/DPP/DEGES/DEPES/SA on the 5th of February 2014 to run as a full-fledged University and be recognized by other Universities, Professional bodies, employers and government of other countries. The University is located in a conducive environment in Porto-Novo after the National Library (Bibliothèque Nationale) Ouando and it is administered by a five member Board of Trustees chaired by the President of the University. This Board exercises financial, regulatory and supervisory functions. .
